Relocation possible. Our client, a successful retail chain, is looking for a Social Advertising Marketer responsible for all advertising campaigns on Social Media for the French and German Market. Our client, a successful retail chain, is looking for a Social Advertising Marketer responsible for all advertising campaigns on Social Media for the French and German Market. You will analyze the results of the campaigns and optimizes accordingly.

Digital is first on the 2018 agenda of this fast-growing retailer. In collaboration with SQIQ, we are building a team. By investing in Digital growth our client plans to stimulate even more sales in their stores throughout Europe. Their offline/online marketing spent will switch from 80/20 now to 50/50 in 2020, and now is the starting point! Do you want to build big, and make impact? Job responsibilities

As Social Advertising Marketer FR/GE, you will continuously roll out experiments that ensure the social advertising is raised to a higher level. You will drive the integration of media strategy and tactics into cohesive plans. The purpose of the job is to achieve the best possible result from advertising campaigns and to make the most of the budget.

Areas of responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all advertising campaigns social media channels in France and Germany, such as Facebook, and Instagram
  • Monitoring the social advertising campaigns on a daily basis and adjust where necessary in order to achieve the optimal results from each campaign
  • Setting up experiments to test all (new) functionalities in the field of social advertising and to see if they contribute to the goals
  • Responsible for the optimization of performance based advertising campaigns
  • Partner closely with advertising specialists and agency partners to develop integrated plan recommendations
  • Identifying overlap or misalignment amongst different media plans and mitigation steps that will deliver value and efficiency
  • Assuring leverage of the brand assets across multi-media outlets to gain maximum cost benefit
  • Overseeing the tactical execution and placement of advertising budgets across media channels domestically and in international markets
  • Establish, assign and closely track budgets, estimates and invoices across each campaign and market
  • Being up to date about the latest trends via blogs and social networks
  • Monitoring the latest new possiblities in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance
  • Compiling data across all social media platforms and create weekly/monthly reports, including analysis for insights, optimizations and future social advertising strategy development
  • Being able to present the insights to the team
  • Working closely with the Social Marketer NL/BE, Online Marketer NL/BE and the Online Marketer FR/GE
  • Making use of different audiences and signals to deliver the right creative at the right time
  • Reporting to internal stakeholders and making recommendations to improve better performance
  • Keeping an eye of all the developments in the online behavior of (our) clients, and creating chances and possibilities that can lead to more readers, viewers, fans, followers and engagement
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Advertising Marketer in an omni channel retail operation or at a pure player
  • Knowledge about the French market
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Data-driven and result driven
  • Minimal high school (HBO), WO intellectual capabilities
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Social centipede, convincingly, a born planner
