E-commerce Specialist. B2B, Bunschoten/Duiven.

As an E-commerce Specialist in this position you will be at the start of something big! Naturally, there is no data yet to analyse, however it is up to you to collect this. This involves communication with all the Technical Support teams in all the countries where the company has Sales offices. It also requires selecting the most suitable user feedback tools to collect both qualitative and quantitative insights from your users to make the right optimization decisions. You translate findings and insights into changes that you will work out in user stories together with the Product Owner. You will prepare A/B tests and understand that it is all about quickly instituting findings and changes (agile way of working) which requires creativity and a can-do mentality.

Once in a lifetime opportunity for a young and entrepreneurial E-commerce Specialist.
Together with you, our team will transit a “traditional multinational’ to a digital-minded ‘service’ organisation.

The Organisation

This Dutch company operates in B2B markets so not a well-known brand for you as end-consumer, but truly one of those Dutch successful companies to be really proud of. They operate globally in more than 30 countries with over 15.000 employees and are listed on Euronext Amsterdam and AEX.

The company focuses on becoming number one in all the niches they are active in with an impressive buy, build and growth strategy.

The role of E-commerce Specialist is for one of their core business units: Hydronic Flow Control.
The companies in this business unit develop and produce solutions for heating, cooling, ventilation and drinking water. They have a number of leading brands in their impressive portfolio.
Operating from approximately 20 sales offices and 10 production locations in Europe, US and Middle East.

The necessity to digitalize products and services is growing. This fuels rapid innovations. The only way to remain competitive.
Next to products, also the go-to-market and channels are increasingly becoming digital. Therefore it is crucial to transform into a digital-minded ‘Hydronic Flow Control as a service’ company.
The BU will be adding new sales channels to its existing ones: an international E-commerce platform will soon be launched for the spare parts business & services and the company also plans to start using market places to sell its products.
In order to boost this digitalisation, a Digital Hub has been set up. The Hub hosts two teams; one Digital Commerce team and a Digital Products & Connectivity team. Together they are kick-starting the transformation. In the Digital Commerce team a Product Owner has been attracted to ensure a successful go-live of the platform within the coming months. It is now up to you, as an E-commerce Specialist, to work towards the optimal user experience and the continuous optimization of all journey’s.
