We are looking for an E-commerce manager for our client Fabory. In this role you will lead a team of digital marketing professionals (4fte). Your main target is to deliver on sales growth and profitability for the digital segment in Benelux and French markets.

We are looking for an E-commerce manager for our client Fabory. In this role you will lead a team of digital marketing professionals (4fte). Your main target is to deliver on sales growth and profitability for the digital segment in Benelux and French markets.

Fabory offers a wide and fast-growing range of fasteners, tools, industrial supplies, and safety products from reputable and established brands. This one of a kind company is best in their business and has a global scope. They’ve already proven to be successful in e-commerce and now want to speed up/ optimize their digital presence in Europe.

Job Responsibilities

  • Managing and developing all aspects of the E-commerce business including strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Drive small medium customer growth in online channel.
  • Shared P&L responsibility for digital customer segment with country managers (Digital segment also includes retail shops and customer service).
  • Develop online shopper insights and support strategies and plans that deliver category growth based on online channel.
  • Lead and coach a team of digital marketing professionals to grow the online sales channels.
  • Manage activation of brand content and presence on e-commerce platforms.
  • Develop a business relationship with key stakeholders in the countries.
  • Balance profitability and revenue growth. Improve market share in the digital segment.

Key Challenges

  • Responsible for delivering online sales target.
  • Balancing customer needs against the value proposition.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams with and without formal authority.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, leading autonomously and making independent decisions.
  • Understand and adapt to Omni-channel customer journeys

Job Dimensions

  • Partners and actively collaborates with Outside Sales, Telesales, local marketing, IT and Customer service
  • Reports to the E-commerce and IT Director

The Candidate

  • Bachelor degree or similar, preferably in Marketing (E-Commerce)/Business Administration.
  • 7-9 years of work experience in Online Marketing and Sales.
  • Prior experience in managing P&L and leading people.
  • Prior experience in managing budgets.
  • A solid understanding of digital solutions and organizational efficiencies.
  • Being adept at forming partnerships within the organization.
  • Being able to recognize new initiatives and new online business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of CRM, feedback management, and customer segmentation
  • Proficient in English and Dutch. Knowledge of French will be a plus.
  • Strong communicator, is able to articulate a well-developed point of view.
  • Ability to influence with integrity
  • Organizational, planning and analysis skills.
